Hair Expo Weekend

WOW, what an amazing weekend. Every year over Queens Birthday weekend, the pinnacle of Australian and New Zealand hairdressing converge in Sydney for Hair Expo. The showcase for everything new and up and coming in our industry.

This year was little special for me as I got to actually work at the expo itself. On Sunday I had the privilege of working with Session Stylist Alan White, as part of the ghd Styling Team showcasing the trends from Mercedes Fashion Week, but for me probably an even bigger highlight, was getting to work with the amazing team X-Presion, out from Spain.

Now these 3 guys take styling to a whole new level, and to be able to work with them backstage on both the Saturday and Monday was an unbelievable experience, and would now take pride of place in the list of people I’ve had the pleasure to work with, and that’s after meeting my hairdressing idol here in Australia Jayne Wild earlier this year.

I’ll put up some pics from both shows over the next few days showing some of this amazing work, but now of to do a Bohemian shoot, inspiration going at max levels so should be fun.
